Our school is putting on a production of “1916” for the 1916 Rising’s 100 Year Commemoration. The play will take place this Thursday, 10th March during the school day for all classes and again that night at 7.30 p.m. for parents, siblings, relations and friends.

The cost of entry to the play is €1 for children in the school and they will be given a stamp which will allow them in again that night if they wish. The cost of a ticket is €3 for anyone wishing to come along to the evening performance and these tickets are available to purchase at the school in advance or on the door that night. There will be a tuck shop opening at the interval and a raffle taking place also with great prizes available!

IMPORTANT! – Night Performance

Doors open at 6.45 p.m.  Everybody to be seated before 7.20 p.m. – doors will then be closed.  Show and raffle will be finished by 8.45 p.m.

As this is a theatre style production, it is not suitable for preschool or very young children so please do not bring them to the show.

Please remain seated during the show and only use toilets before the show starts or during the interval.

Please park beside the main school building.  Do not use the staff car park.

A huge amount of effort, rehearsing and preparation has gone into “1916” by children and staff so we look forward to seeing everyone there!
