Children from Junior Infants to 6th Class will be taking part in coding activities as part of EU Code Week. The children in Infants will be learning about programming Beebot robots in Maths. In 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th class they will be doing activities using an online resource called Sprite Lab to learn about basic coding concepts. In 5th and 6th they will be using the Scratch application to code a game on the Chromebooks. They will be using visual coding blocks to create interactivity and scoring within the game.
