Seachtain na Gaeilge
D'fhoghlaimíomar dán nua 'An Siopa Milseáin,' le haghaidh Seachtain na Gaeilge.
World Book Day
We celebrated 'World Book Day,' on the 3rd of March. We had loads of different characters including Pinocchio, a ware-wolf, princesses and loads more!! We had a lot of fun.
Chinese New Year
Chinese Lanterns
We made Chinese lanterns when we were learning about the Chinese New Year. We learned that red is used as it is thought to be a lucky colour.
The Doctor's Surgery
Our Aistear theme for January is the Doctor's Surgery. We have been very busy with appointments and the doctor's have been working so hard checking on every bodies health!
Halloween Fun
In Aistear we had loads of fun creating potions in our 'Potions Lab.' The boys and girls were very creative thinking of different spells.
Autumn
This month we have been learning all about Autumn. We went on a nature walk to look for signs of Autumn. We then used the leaves that we found to create a picture of Autumn trees.
The Three Little Pigs
We read the story 'The Three Little Pigs.' In Art, we created the different houses that the pigs made. We used straw, lollipop sticks and red paper. We had lots of fun creating our houses!
